The sky was bright and clear. The crowd swelled to almost one million people. The signs were as unique as the people who created them. These are my memories from a day of solidarity in Downtown Los Angeles.
In rained in San Francisco. But, we visited Fisherman’s Wharf and The Ferry Building anyway. Our Airbnb in Mill Valley was surrounded by majestic redwood trees. Wine tasting in Napa Valley. In Santa Rosa, we opted out of the line at Russian River Brewing and instead found The Spinster Sisters. Brunch with Margaret at Cafe M in Oakland was picturesque. The Santa Maria region is known for their mouth watering, pulled pork and and self titled seasoning blend. Rancho Nipomo BBQ and Deli offers a well rounded sampling of both in an rustic, inspired atmosphere.
