Laser Wolf

Located at the penthouse level at The Hoxton Williamsburg, Laser Wolf was a lovely place to cap off a magical evening.

After a night at Company XIV, I didn’t feel like going out again. But, I didn’t feel like going to sleep just yet. So, I stopped at the rooftop bar, Laser Wolf, once again for a midnight snack.

I ordered the Lamb Kofta, which came with the SALATIM (Hummus + Pita, Lutenitsa, Israeli Pickles, Eggplant Babaganoush, Tunisian Potatoes, Pineapple w/Celery, Gigante Beans Piyaz, Cabbage + Fennel w/Schug, Moroccan Carrots, Turkish Brussels Sprouts, Cucumbers w/ Harissa)

While enjoying my late night snack, I briefly considered heading into Manhattan to go to The Jazz Club at the Aman to view one of my favorite burlesque dancers perform. However, I didn’t want to pay $59 for a one way Uber. Literally, the Uber rides in New York are absolutely insane. So, in my rational thoughts, I was content with savoring my time at Laser Wolf.

Another wonderful thing is that with the meal came with ice cream included as the desert. The Brown Sugar Soft Serve cardamom-spiced blueberries, almond crumble was delicious – until I felt myself fall asleep at the table with a quickness.

After a memorable dinner at Sushi Suite 1001 at Hotel 32, I returned to The Hoxton Williamsburg for a nightcap. I didn’t want to go to sleep just yet. From the stop at Brooklyn Museum to dinner at Sushi Suite 1001, I just wanted to savor the moments of the evening before being faced with the fact of packing for Paris the next day.

I was seated at the bar, as I didn’t need full dinner service. After browsing the menu, I settled on the LASER WOLF APPLES AND HONEY HOT TODDY and the BROWN SUGAR SOFT SERVE (sesame, cherry, crunchies).

 

While enjoying my night comforts, I looked around the space. The decor was lovely. The menu looked good. It was definitely a vibe that I’d love to return to and try a few of the salatim and cooked meats during my next trip to Brooklyn.

But, for then, in those moments, while enjoying my soft serve ice cream and hot toddy, time at Laser Wolf was a lovely way to end the day.
