Long Beach Taco Company

Long Beach Taco Co is a delicious Mexican food spot, featuring rather tasty tacos, in Long Beach

After a wonderful morning at Rosie’s Dog Beach in Long Beach, I didn’t want to go home just yet. After going through the cuisine choices in the area, I settled on tacos. After calling around to see what places had an outdoor patio that would accept dogs, I found Long Beach Taco Company. After a short search for parking, we were on our way.

One of the first things I enjoyed about Long Beach Taco Company is the large patio. It offered seating for those with dogs and visitors wanting to enjoy the ambiance of the beautiful day. What I love about Long Beach is the walkability of Downtown along with the sheer volume of people with dogs. So, we happily blended in well with the scene.

To start, we started with FRESH GUACAMOLE (house-made tortilla chips), which came with delicious salsa verde and a savory smokey chipotle red salsa.

For beers, I ordered the BEER FLIGHT (Long Beach Taco IPA, Guava Cider, 21st Amendment Blood Orange IPA and Russian Imperial Old Rasputin Stout)

The SHRIMP BAJA TACO (Battered shrimp with cabbage, pico, pickled onions and baja sauce on a flour tortilla) and the TACO DE PESCADO ALA CARTE (Baja California. Beer battered fish, cabbage, pico, and sweet Sriracha aioli) perfectly hit the spot.

Both tacos tasted delicious. I could feel how close I was to the Pacific Ocean with every bite. But if I had to choose a favorite, I would say that I slightly enlaced the fish above the shrimp. But, only slightly.

And not to be outshone, the puppy loved her experience at Long Beach Taco Company! It was definitely Labrador approved.
