This sea turtle sanctuary & cenote of Xcacel Área Natural Protegida Estatal is an incredible visual space of peaceful calm and beauty.
Xcacel is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever laid eyes on and experience. Between the soft white sand, the clear water and the vision of the sky meeting the ocean – it was paradise.
Travel Tips:
- The entrance fee depends on how many people you are traveling with. Price is per person.
- Be mindful of the sun. It might not seem intense at first – but the sun is exceptionally strong.
- Water is allowed – but food is NOT allowed on the beach. The beach is a protected area. With this in mind, there is an officer that strolls the beach and checks on beachgoers to make sure you follow the rules.
